I helped teach Sunday school again today. And since they're in preschool we just play for a little while before beginning the lesson. I was sitting on the floor with some kids who were playing with the toy animals when I felt a little hand on my leg and looked down and noticed one of them slithering a toy snake into my boot. Without thinking about the famous Toy Story reference I dramatically cried "There's a snake in my boot!" But as soon as I said it, Jessi (the girl I lead with) and I looked at each other and just started laughing, realizing the connection. That's just one of the many things I love about working with kids: lots and lots of laughs!
