I spent most of the afternoon visiting restaurants and businesses asking for donations again and picking up some that had already been guaranteed. I went to Sun Tan City, Pizza Hut, Daylight Donuts, Texas Roadhouse, Smokey Bones (twice), Olive Garden, The Great American Cookie, O'Charley's, Mona Lisa's Gelato, Wok Hay, Rita's, and Fatz. And while I wanted to buy a donut, a cookie, and gelato, I managed to pass on all those and only got something at Rita's because I had a gift card there anyways. On a hot afternoon the strawberry Italian ice and chocolate gelato hit the spot!  |
