Good Night at the Gorge

So tonight I finally made it out to Doe River Gorge for evening worship.  Staci, Emma, Brittany and I rode out together which of course resulted in a car full of laughter.  It was so good to see students and friends that I haven't seen since the very beginning of summer.  It was good to be led in worship by some amazing musicians.  It was good to take in the sunset and the moon and the mountains.  It was a good night out at the gorge.  The ride home ended up being full of even more laughter, after a quick pit stop at Sammons to get fries and peanut butter milkshakes, and then some great quotes from Staci and Brittany.  Staci said "Butter me up and call me happy," instead of how the line really goes "Butter my butt and call me a biscuit."  Then Brittany had the very profound line of "You really can turn anywhere and then get somewhere."  It was the epitome of a summer evening, with friends, food, and nice weather.   I'm so glad I finally made it out there, but I hate that it'll be my only visit of the summer, since this is their last week of camp.

We got to see Tiffani!

Blurry but cute!

Sammons!
