Today was customer appreciation day at the Jimmy Johns in Johnson City, and from 11:00-3:00 their basic subs were only a dollar! I figured the line would be pretty long, which it was - out the door and into the middle of the parking lot, but it was worth the wait. My total was $1.10 and I got two meals out of it because I ate half the sub for lunch and had the other half as part of my dinner. 55 cents a meal - you can't beat that! Well, except for maybe Ramen noodles, but that's hardly a comparison. If there is a Jimmy Johns in your city you need to find out when their customer appreciation day is and make sure to get yourself a dollar sub!
