A Happiness Sort of Day

Yesterday was one of those days that just epitomizes a perfect Saturday.  I slept in a little bit, got up and made breakfast, spent some time with Jesus, cleaned my room, showered and got ready to head out for the afternoon.  And who did I get to spend the afternoon with?  Jessica and Will!  My friends that got engaged at Passion.  I randomly ran into them at Target Friday evening and we decided to go antiquing Saturday, something Jessica and I have been wanting to do again for a while now.  So we met up at my place Saturday afternoon and headed to downtown Elizabethton.  Walking down Elk Avenue really is like a step back in time; I love it!  We visited three antique stores: Picket Fence Antiques, Antiques on Elk, and Duck Crossing Antiques.  Don't they just sound adorable?!?  Jessica and Will are going with a vintage theme for their wedding this summer, and were looking for things to use as decorations.  They found some neat items at great prices and I can't wait to see how it all comes together!  By the time we were done shopping we were starving and headed to Amigo's (how appropriate) for some dinner.  The rest of the night I did some laundry and finished a few art projects.  Like I said, my idea of a perfect Saturday!
